Fatalities are hard to do. Here's how to make it VERY VERY easy.

1] Go to Practice. Highlight 'Difficulty' (DO NOT press enter or
any thing, just highlight so that the box-cursor is on it.)

2] Press and hold Block + LK for 10 seconds (Using the 1st
player's control). A cheat menu will appear.

3] IMPORTANT: Turn ON Fatality I OR Fatality II OR Level
Fatality, keeping the rest off.
Fatality I is if you want to do the 1st Fatality of any player.
Fatality II is if you want to do the 2nd fatality of any player.
HOWEVER Level Fatality is only possible in the Backround/Theater
of the player with which you are playing. If you turn all three
fatalities on then 'Fatality I' will work. If you turn 'Endings'
on then the game will complete after defeating only one person.

4] Exit the cheat menu and play as you normally would.
5] When 'Finish Him' comes just press Down + HP.

from the cheat menu. But you can use the fatalities of an individual player through
which you are playing. But this cheat will help you to kill your opponenet with
ts' fatality. That means you can use not only your fatalities but also your
opponenets fatalities. Here you are.....

Press pressed Down, Forward, High Punch when close to your opponent at the
"Finish him!" screen. Noob Saibot will grab the opponent's arms, then kicks
them in the torso. Their body will fall apart into several pieces and the
head will stay in the air for a short time spinning around before dropping

It is just a tip for doing any fatalities in Mortal Kombat 4

Fatalities are not easy to everyone.It is just simple trick to do the Fatalities of anyone.

First get the cheat menu and activate any one of the Fatality(only one at atime).
Then play with a character in Arcade menu.When they said you to finish him then press the
keys DOWN+HP.Thus we can do first and second fatality easily. For doing fan fatality you
must choose backgroud as prison and activate level Fatality.For doing spike fatality you
must be very closer to your opponent and activate level Fatality.

Do what the strategy guide made my Philbo said. Then go underground in the
trapdoor at the ship dock. Go to the projector. Turn it off. Go to the paper
on the wall. Press the green button. Press the arrows until it gets to the
number 40. Turn the projector on. You see a mountain. Go around the projector
slowly. Look for a flashing button. Press it. The switch panel comes down
revealing a golden plaque. Press all of the circles on the plaque. Zoom out.
Go the rocket, but don't go in, go more towards the tower beside you. See
that room cut into the brick walkway? Go into it. Make the number 2735.
Go into the library. Click on the bluebook that has appeared. Now click
on the link. You go to Rime, a secret age. Go to the side of the small
building a switch the knob around. Go into the building and click on the
burner button. (It's red). Enjoy the coziness!


How to Get to Channel Wood Age:

Go to the cabin . Type 724 in the vault. there are matches in the safe. Turn
on the furnace. light the match. look for the red dot at the bottom of the
furnace. Light it with match. Quickly go to the big tree. You will see a
elevator going up. Go back inside. turn off the furnace. Quickly go back
outside. Quickly go back to the tree. Quickly get in the elevator. It will
go down, under the ground. The book is waiting for you.

These steps will allow Myst to be completed in thirty minutes, without

* Turn on all markers (marker switches to up positions and symbols to green).
At the clock tower, rotate the small wheel twice and the large wheel eight

* Return to the dock and turn off the marker switch (down position).

* In the Library, look at the far right book on the middle shelf for the

You will now understand what the man is saying when he's talking in the

If you have completed the game, you will have been to D'ni, the place that
you arrive in after you have used the green book in the library's fireplace.
You will also notice that the floor is a mosaic, forming a picture of a man's
face. That man is not Atrus, Sirrus, Achenar, or any other game character.
The face belongs to Chuck Carter, who created a lot of the graphics for the
game.


Easter Egg:

If you play the file x:\QTW\Channel\holoamth.mov you will see a clip of Achenar
muttering gibberish in Channelwood. If the movie is played backwards, Achenar
actually says something like "Rush Limbaugh understands."

Access Keys:

* Turn on the marker switches on Myst Island to activate locations on the map
in the library.
* Rotate the Tower to locations that turn the line red by clicking and holding
the flashing icon on the map.
* Go to the Tower to find the access keys.


Getting to the Mechanical Age:
------------------------------
To reach the Mechanical Age, go to the southern edge of Myst. There should be
a building in the water with a large clock on it and two wheels you can reach.
The two wheels represent the hands on the clock, the large one controls the
large hand and the small one controls the small hand. Click the small one twice
and the large one eight times so that the clock says 2:40. Gears will come up
from the water and allow you to access the building. Once inside, there will
be three levers and a machine that says 3,3,3. The lever on the left turns the
top two gears and the one on the right controls the bottom two gears.

Pull the levers until the machine says 2,2,1. If you pull the lever and nothing
happens, pull the one on the far right to reset the machine. Once it says 2,2,1,
the large gear on the northeastern part of the island should open up.
Look inside it to find a linking book that will teleport you to the Mechanical
Age.

Hero's Ascent:

In the qualifying round of Hero's Ascent, you can order your heroes and
henchmen to attack the Zaishen without triggering the timer.
This makes it possible to always earn a 10% morale boost.

Missing heroes:

After completing the final mission you will able to pickup quests that
allow you to add any heroes you previously missed to your party.

Easy money:
-----------
At the beginning of the game you will get a few battle commendations. Go to
the Sunspear Great Hall and talk to the Sunspear quarter master. Click on
"Scroll Of Adventurers Insight" and press "Exchange". Sell them just across
the way for 100 gold for easy starting money.

Reducing Elementalist damage:
-----------------------------
There is a high number of Dervish an Elementalist bosses that can
easily deal over 200 damage. Taking a monk with Protective Spirit
will only cause them to damage 10% of your maximum health.

Sixth God Statue:
-----------------
Successfully complete the game. You will now have access to the sixth
God Statue in the Chantry of Secrets.

Spell interruptions:
--------------------
The AI can interrupt skills and spells in a split second. If you think
you are about to be interrupted, stop the skill with [Esc] then re-cast.
This stops you from having to wait for the skill to recharge.

Recover death penalty:
----------------------
If you complete a quest while not inside a town and have a death penalty,
the majority, if not all of it, will be removed when you complete the quest
and receive you reward.

Easy Sunspear promotion points:
-------------------------------
It is recommended to be at level of 7-20. Get to Jokanur Diggings. Go west
to get outside of town. Get the bounty from the Sunspear scout at the
resurrection shrine. Go to Fahranur, the first city, also to the west.
Search outside Fahranur until you find a place where there are a lot of
level 2 scales. Kill all of them and you should get 10 to 20 Sunspear
points, plus the scales on the way to Fahranur. Note: the scales are level
2, but to get there you must be able to kill two to four level 6 to 15
scales.

Defeating Varesh:
-----------------
Note: You must be level 20 and have Guild Wars: Eye Of The North. Go into
Sifhalla (Far Shiverpeaks in Eye Of The North) and go out into Drakkar lake.
Go down to the bottom right corner of the map. Talk to Hogni Truthseeker.
He should have three quests for you. Choose the quest "Hunter's Pride" to
gain the Ursan Blessing (must have completed Blood Washed Blood). Complete
the quest and gain the Ursan Blessing. Go into the Desolation and in Ruins
of Morah. Go into the mission with three heroes, (one monk, two ranged
heroes or two warriors). Bring four henchmen (two monks, one warrior, and
one ranger). Equip your Ursan Blessing. Kill all three Margonites Clerics
so they do not heal Versh. Kill Varesh Ossa (level 29). Rush into the
center of the mission map. Activate your Ursan Blessing and rush for
Varesh. Then, kill Varesh Ossa.

Invincible HOGS:
----------------
If you have the skill to tame animals. There are prize winning hogs in Wizards
Folly. The cool thing about them is that they never get hit because the enemy
doesn't realize their there. So tame a prize winning hog in Wizards Folly and
you have an invincible friend. NOTE he doesn't do a lot of damage at his
present level but once he is leveled properly he can be a very big help.

Dancing Abaddon:
----------------
When facing Abaddon in the Abaddon's Gate mission, let all human players start
dancing on the bridge (via /dance). Abaddon will join in, using the male warrior
dance. Once he's done dancing, he will instantly wipe the group and you'll get
the message "You got served!"

Drop rates:

The drop rate is determined by the number of Henchmen you have with you if you
are the only player. Each Henchmen reduces the drop rate by one-half the normal
drop rate. Therefore, with a group of seven Henchmen and you, the chances of
getting a drop is very slim. Also, when you are with Henchmen the amount of
gold dropped from the enemies is split up between all of the Henchmen and you.


Secrets:

See how fast your machine is actually running Guild Wars.
Right-click on the shortcut on your desktop and go to "Properties". In the
box labeled “Target”, you will see the path which the shortcut leads to.
Here, after the quotations, type in: –perf.

Before Example: "C:\Program Files\Guild Wars\Gw.exe"
After Example: "C:\Program Files\Guild Wars\Gw.exe" –perf
NOTE: Your's may be different, depending on where you installed Guild Wars.

When you run Guild Wars and select you character, it should appear in the
top right corner of the screen: "Tri X FPS X Bytes Per Second X"
This data fluctuates as you play, and you can use this to know when to
lower your graphics settings etc.


Item exchange:

Monastery Credits and Imperial Commendations can be exchanged for helpful
items. Exchange Monastery Credits for experience scrolls and sell them for
100g each. Exchange Imperial Commendations for Superior Salvage Kits and
sell them for 800g each.


Easy money:
-----------
Make sure you have at least one open character slot. Make a new character.
Once you are in the monastery, do the first quest until you at least get
50g to open your storage account. Once you have your storage account (which
is linked with all your characters), do the first few missions with your
new character. Do all the missions you can with henchs. Once you do as many
as you can with just henchs, take all the gold you earned and deposit into
your storage account. Then, log off and delete the character you just made
and make a new one. You can do this as many times as desired and just keep
depositing the money into your storage account so your main character can
spend the gold from it.


View performance stats:

Start the game with the "-perf" command line parameter.


Easy money and Luxon Faction:
-----------------------------
Use the following trick to earn a little bit of money and a lot of Luxon
Faction quickly to transfer or trade it in for Jadeite. Go to or get a run
to Breaker Hollow and get five henchmen. Your profession will determine
which henchmen to take. A good choice would be the two monks, the two
fighters, and the interrupter ranger. Once you have the henchmen, go out
the northern portal. Once it loads you will see a patch of green on your
map. Go there. You may run into a small group of monsters. Kill them and
take their loot. Once you reach the green patch you will notice that it
is a hill. Go up there and be prepared to fight a group of three or four
Oni.
These are the only creatures that drop Oni weapons. After they are dead,
go up the hill and look to your right. You will find a way down to an NPC
that runs an Arena. You can fight there and get experience, 175 gold, and
400 Luxon faction. Take his challenge and you will go down into the pit.
The enemies are easy, but they all have Resurrection Signet (thus the
reason for the interrupter henchman). After you win, collect your reward
and Map Travel back to Breaker Hollow. Repeat this to get a lot of Luxon
Faction without have to spend time looking for a group for quests.
There is always the chance of finding chests and gold items because of
the low number of members in the party.


Easy Way To Finsh Save The Child:

An easy way to save the child is to stand where you got the Quest and yell
out "Saving the Child." People will want to be on a team with you.
Make sure you have at least 2 lvl 20 guys it will help.


Help The Child Quest:
---------------------
Help the child is one of the Hardest Quest So Stand Where you get the quest
and yell out " Help the child". Make sure level 20 want to join your team and
you will do it in a since.


Recover death penalty:

If you complete a quest while not inside a town and have a death penalty, the
majority, if not all of it, will be removed when you complete the quest and
receive you reward.

Easter Egg: Joke Language in Language Menu:

Open up the Menu, go to Options, and open the language menu. Here you will have
your standard languages (English, French, German, etc.) and at the bottom there
will be a joke language placed by the Developers called Bork! Bork! Bork!
After using this language, everything will be in english lettering, but with
strange spelling. You can undo this by reversing the process.

Recommended builds:

The following is a decent Assassin primary Ranger secondary build. Max out the
critical strikes and marksmanship attributes to maximize the chances of a critical
hit while using a bow. Equip the skills Critical Defenses, Critical Eye, Way Of
Perfection, Shadow Refuge, Barrage, and Read The Wind. Any open skill slots can be
whatever other skills desired. When fighting, activate Critical Defenses and Critical
Eye. Critical Defenses will refresh with every Critical Hit you land. You will rarely
have to re-cast it during a fight. Then, just Barrage groups of enemies. If you have
a mask that gives +1 to critical strikes equipped, you will gain +3 energy per critical
hit which means Barrage will give you +3 to +18 energy per use.

Select the henchmen or heroes that you wish to bring then go intoan
explorable area anywhere in the far northern Shiverpeaks. Talk to
one of the Norn by a Resurrection Shrine. If they ask for a fight,
you must defeat them in order for this to work. Accept the offer
they give you and you will receive the Norn Hunting Party effect.
As long as you do not leave the area, you will gain Norn reputation
every time you kill a monster.

Ranger's Hog:

In the farming city in before the future you can get a prize hog if you are
a ranger. This hog cannot die. The enemies won't attack it. He deals a little
damage, but it does the job after a while.


Easy money:
-----------
You can "farm" gold by choosing a species of enemy to hunt to collect their
gold drop. In the Ascalon area, the biggest gold drop is 20 gold. Try going
to Kryta and hunting the Ettins in the west end for better drops (20 to 80
gold). The best areas are in the Maguma Jungle and Crystal Desert (80 to 130
gold). These areas are very difficult for most people, and they choose to
"run" to the next town/outpost/city instead of fighting. Instead of loosing
money from it (most runners ask 500 to 4,000 gold in payment), fight your
way there. You will make money and level up quickly.


Gift For Althea quest: More money:
----------------------------------
After you have collected either the Beautiful Feather (in middle of Lakeside
Village), Beautiful Pearl (in a beautiful shell near Miller Upton's home), or
Beautiful Pendant (in a chest slightly northeast of the bandit camp) and take
it to him, he will decline the gift saying it is not good enough. Instead of
getting the other two items to show him, you can simply talk to him about
the beautiful item again. This time he will take the gift.


Easy faction points:
--------------------
Immediately after logging into the game with a PvP character, start the "The
Team Trials" quest. Complete all the missions until you get to the last one,
"The Killcount". Intentionally lose this mission and you will be taken back
to the beginning. Repeat this until you think you have the desired amount of
faction points then complete the last match to make it to the PvP grouping
lobby location. Talk to the Priest next to the storage people to spend your
points on items and skills. Note: Killing as many people as you can in the
missions will gain more faction points.


Drop rates:

The drop rate is determined by the number of Henchmen you have with you
if you are the only player. Each Henchmen reduces the drop rate by one-half

say something about talking with him, and if you already did the "Mesmer's
Burden" quest and have the Devourer Egg for Old Mack, she will walk away.

Charr Hides:
------------
An easy way to get lots of Charr Hides (a valuable item that gives fur squares),
and sometimes Rune, is to continually play the Ruins of Surmia mission in
Ascalon.
It is recommended that you are level 10 or higher or be with a party with level
10 or higher players. Make sure to have Resurrection Signet equipped, as it may
be needed. Also, get both the bags and the belt pouch to hold all the items
that are dropped. This is also useful for leveling up easily.


Using Resurrection Signet multiple times:
-----------------------------------------
Resurrection Signet becomes unusable after you resurrected someone, but when
you defeat a Boss it becomes usable again.


Making Gold Dye:
----------------
First, mix Orange and Silver to make Sweet 1. Then mix Sweet 1 and Yellow to
make Sweet 2. Finally, mix Sweet 2 and Silver to make Gold Dye (O+S+Y+S).


Making Pink Dye:
----------------
Mix Purple and Red (and Silver for a darker pink). This looks very nice
on warriors.


Bonus items:
------------
Note: The Game Of The Year edition is required. When in a town or outpost type
/bonus. You should get some of the best items in the game. Although you can do
this more than once, there is no point as the items are customized just for you
and are worth nothing to merchants.

Get gold quick in Ascalon City:

Here is a really quick and easy way to get money in Guild Wars. Go to Ascalon City.
Stand by the exit, and either register yourself on party search or just say 'Gatemonkey
available'. If someone needs a gatemonkey, add them to your party, leave Ascalon City,
run with them to the gate and open it for them. The standard payment for a gatemonkey
is 50g. Not bad for a couple of minutes running. If you don't know what a gatemonkey
is or how to be one, it is very simple. You leave Ascalon City, take the path to the
right and follow it all the way until you reach the gate. Run up to the area above the
gate and stand next to the lever. Click it, and the gate will open. Your party member
will go through the first gate, then offer to trade with you. Accept, and they will pay
you 50g. Then, use the map to teleport back to Ascalon City, leaving the party. This
way, the person who is going through the gate gets to solo the area. This is a great
way to get gold, since you get 50 every time, and it takes literally 2 minutes, if that.

Type /namepet <name> at the chat window. Note: Make sure to put a space between the "t"
of "pet" and the name of your pet.
